My nutrition advice service can be included with your personal training package or as a stand alone package.

Diet is so important.  The levels of obesity are higher than ever and still increasing, particularly in children.  The risks of poor diet can be so severe that they can kill you.  Poor diet can lead to these diseases amongst others:

  • Coronary Heart Disease
  • Type II Diabetes
  • Stroke
  • Some cancers
  • High blood pressure
  • Constipation
  • Joint pain
  • Poor skin

My nutrition advice service provides you with the information you need to improve your diet and to understand how to eat properly.  It is not a quick fix, it is a lifestyle change.   In effect, you do not diet, you change your lifestyle.  I see no point dieting for a month and then reverting back to old habits.  What you need to do is understand nutrition better and I provide you with the tools and help remove the confusion.

Do you realise that what you eat impacts your energy levels?  If you have food cravings, it is most likely because your diet is inappropriate.

Diets do not work, some diets can actually put your health at risk and many diets can actually slow your metabolic rate.   There is no such thing as a quick fix.

I will show you what to look out for on food labels and review some of the foods you eat to help you understand what is good and what is bad about it.  You do not need to be bombarded with science, just sensible information.

You will complete diaries of what you have eaten.  This is the best method I have found to guide you through ensuring that you are eating the right foods at the right time.  So many people still do not eat breakfast.  If you don't your metabolism will slow and your body compensates slowing down the weight loss process. 

Of course good diet and a basic level of exercise go hand in hand to maintaining good health.
